Well i didn't just make this stuff up mate. I could quote the thread Kryo spoke of this in if ya really want but in his words, roughly, "MV will get some love along with TA in 2.0". I'm not going to search for thread right now.

Now, whether that was from Brad i don't know, but i'm sure Kryo didnt just make it up either.

So..yes i can and will wait and all of the rest of your comments, but i am asking if there is still something in the works. Furthermore, your priority concerns may...no, are different than mine, i'm sure.

You can wait all you like, i'm more than happy though to simply ask a question or two.

Now if ya don't mind i'd like to hear from the devs.

thanks Kryo for the response.  At Neilo and other MV players- let's make sure that we have an organized list and secondly, not a "wish list"; let's be bluntly honest- the MV isn't going to see any big updates, so don't aim for that, but at least we can make sure the functionality is there, that the medals work, and that cheaters get caught (ie Spacetimer)

Thanks Kryo. Good thinking SB. Perhaps a thread at ToE for us to agree on a short list of updates/fixes/improvements for the MV. A thread on the topic here might get lost in the random posting that is sure to occur in such a thread.

Off the top of my head real quick though....

Medals fixed/explained. (inc purple heart, fav race icon working in DA/TA, achievements, inc krynn/korath for fav race medal)

I didn't even realize I was reading an old thread until Neilo's last response. 

I'd just like to see some uses for all of those achievment medals. A Win all victory types medal and/or maybe a top 100 / former top 100 medal.

?  Translation:  We'll fix whats not working but nothing new is going to be added? 

Not sure if the non-used medals would be considered something that isn't working quite right. Especially since we don't know what, if anything. they were supposed to do in the first place. As far as things not updating of scores not calculating correctly, someone else would probably know better.

@Zyps:  I think those are a bit beyond some quick bug fixes, not that they wouldn't be cool.  But even so, this isn't a "Wish List" thread

Another to add to SB's medals list is the Purple Heart medal only showing up in your MV profile, not in forum posts.

If the Fleet Admiral Medal and the Achievement medals 6-9 are working, could we get some info on what we need to do to attain them please.

One would have thought there would be a 250/500 game winner medal. If there is, as you can see below it is not working. If not and the next game winner medal after 100 is higher than 500, then perhaps a revision of the level these medals are achieved may be in order.

Can anyone really see anybody getting to 750 or 1000 just to get the next medal, let alone what level; the later medals might kick in at....5000 games one???

@Zyx..what SB said might be the best approach here mate. Let's not bury the poor guy with an insumountable list of things to be done. Given that, nothing would get done.

Let's get the few flaws fixed first and then push for tweaks..

Also access to the Council area has been pretty much eliminated throughout the forums but is still accessible from the Databanks, Downloads, Journals, Screen Shots and Purchase areas. Also these areas are oddly unique in that they often require separate login from the Forums area. In any case the Council area is pretty much defunct and IIRC some threads can be responded to while others can't and I don't believe new threads can be created and so it's probably best if this area that is accessible to Diplomat (master apprentice) and above simply disappeared.

I do want to mention that I appreciate the amount of effort that went into the forum upgrade and do believe that effort which made most of Stardock's 12 (and counting) forum sites more unified and consistent was a good thing. I probably understand at least as much as any other interested bystander about the enormity of the effort (350+ unique forums, 750+ total forums accessible from 12 separate sites) and perhaps the following suggestion relates more to the forums as a whole as opposed to the MV specifically, but there does seem to be some gaps in the otherwise "seamless" transistion from one site to the next. The main one is that karma seems to be partially "site specific". By that I mean that karma given from one site may not translate to another in one case but it will in another. 

Another thing that we used to have but do no longer is forum ranks appearing with posts. In the User profiles these now appear in the new unified format (citizen, apprentice, master apprentice, journeyman, ...) but in the MV profiles these are still listed in the old format (citizen, veteran, diplomat, ambassador, ...). This is also a more global forum issue as opposed to a MV specific issue.
