If I play twilight of anor do I get all the materials that were in the previous series or do i have to go through each of the expansions to enjoy their benefits(i.e. do they accumulate together or are they in effect completely different games)?
Each game takes the previous features and adds to it. As of the latest update for TA, the prior campaigns are available in TA too, so there is no need to play the prior games once you have TA (they are still required for it to function, though).

I'd advise that you play a couple random campaigns in Dread Lords and Dark Avatar before moving to Twilight of Arnor though. I just purchased the pack a few weeks ago and wanted to jump straight to Twilight of Arnor. At the same time, I like to see the improvements from expansions and mods in my games so I can see the differences/improvements and ultimately appreciate it that much more.
How do the story campaigns play out if you jump straight to TA and go through the DL and DA campaigns? Do they limit the tech tree and such to their respective games or does it adapt TA features into the old campaigns?
