Endless Universe query.

I've just played the demo and really enjoyed it, now I want more! I have seen Endless Universe on sale at play.com, however searching round the forum here for info, seems to point at it being a German game only. Is this true? Will it work in England? Is it fully supported? Cheers.

AFAIK Kaylpso has released an english version (and possibly others across Europe). Just make sure you buy the right language.

Yes, it's a DA-TA bundle which does not require the base game.

So we U.S. gamers got ripped off by having to buy three games?

If you want to look at it that way,.... But didn`t they have a longer wait (overseas) to get the games ???

Yes, it's only just come out this fall, and it was done this way only because Kalypso didn't have the rights to DL (Paradox did). Previously, *ONLY* DL has been available in Europe, except for those who had credit cards to order online (credit cards are uncommon in Europe).

Kaylpso has since bought the DL rights from Paradox and now they're going to do a full bundle, assumably to replace this one.

In the end, it doesn't make much difference either way. Many have had the game for nearing three years now, and I'd say that much entertainment is worth something, wouldn't you? But it's just simple reality that prices drop over time, and this can be seen as really just part of that as much as anything.

I don't quite understand this kind of feeling myself...

I mean ... you got to use the products you bought for several month before this package is out ... It's not like it's a complete rip off, isn't it ? Also all games become cheaper and cheaper with time .... (except the sims license which don't change in price until the next generation is out ... talk about overpriced -_- )
