not sure where "down there" is, but you can find game examples in the AAR section. some (many) are fictionalized; look for less crative titles if you just want examples of strategy.

to clarify my point.. in the Database section there is a link for "Game Examples" which looks like exactly what i want to look at.  As far as the AAR section goes.. every link I've tried is complete fiction and not really anything to do with the mechanics of the game.

the databanks section is pretty worthless at this point. the AAR section might be mostly fluff, but there are some more technical ones. looking farther back might be helpful. also check out the strategy section, or consider joining an empire if you're interested in MV play (i'd suggest The Tyranny of Evil, but then, i'm in that empire, so i'm a little biased).

I don't know what happened to that link. I know there used to be at least one decent example.  Other than that I can't help yoyu with game examples. However, there are quite a few posts that deal with specific aspects of the game. So instaed of a copmplete game example you may read about farms, or weapons strategies, etc. I think everything has been discussed at some point.

You best bet may be to just post a qustion about something in the game and see what other people tell you about it. For exmple you can ask the question. "How many farms do you build on a planet?" and you will be sure to get a bunch of responses.

Be aware that this game gives such flexibility to individual play styles you will be sure to see many different answers for any giver question. All of which work even if they apear to state opposite strategies. So ask your questions and try to see what works for you.

The one strategy i got from these forums is that i no longer build any morale structures. Instaed i rely on inate bonuses from techs, trade goods and yellow resources. With this you can have one farm (13 billion people) and still have a high tax rate; 80% by end of game and have an extra tile per planet.
