Star Wars: the Fleet packs

I have always loved this game because just when its gets stale the sandbox element allows you to do something new and its like a whole new game. 

I have to thank Ronin for the newest reemergence for me, his Federation and Empires mod has inspired me to go back and create some ship packs of my own.  I think I will, of course make them available here soon, and include them as a option in the Star Wars mod, that we have been working on, sorry it has taken so long, but you can appreciate that we are pretty busy sometimes, (I am a grad student).  But the mod is alive and well.  

Just wanted to show off what I have done and wanted to ask the community if there was any ship they would like to see, my ownly limit is it can't be a super capital ship since I made the ISD's the huge hull, and really this is because I don't know if I could do them justice, I might try again down the road.

Planned packs:  Imperial, Old Republic(including KOTOR era), Rebel/New Republic, CIS, maybe a Consortium (includes all crime groups but not sure yet, a later on project).

Well here is my little fleet.



The hammerhead will be for the republic but I didn't want to leave it out.

Ships still planned:

Could use some suggestions for huge and large hulls, please keep in mind ISD's huge, Vic and Venator Large

Does anyone here want to make the planetary improvements for the ANE mod?

I am two options on this. There are tons of minor races out there but some are REALLY minor and in not complete faction,

Republic ---> Dark Forage (is it possible) Some sort of miner that gives you a free ship, I guess its possible but might be hardcoded not to work.

Rebels----> Do they have anything? Or maybe I should go another route with them like somme sweet tech like Force sensitive pilots that make those plucky little ships tear it up or something, but again that is full mod talk not ships?

CIS---- Death Star Alpha? How can I make this distinct from the Death Star or should I give the Empire something else like worldcrushers, and make the Death Star Alpha a super Space Station???

i think that the Empire should have the Galaxy Gun, the Repulic Star Forge(technaley that can blow up a star) , Rebles Force Harvester? CIS Death Star they made it

I like the Czerka Corporation, a kind of Trade Federation minor faction.

 

The Mandalorians I think could be a event like the Dread Lord invasion.  I like them over the Yuuzhan Vong.

 

But what abbout the crime organizations, Zann Consortium is good, but I like the Hutt, and the Black sun.  I was thinking of combining them into one Criminal consortium and making them a actual faction like a evil Rebel Alliance or going with the big two as minors like the Hutt and Zann since there at odds right?  I never did play the expansion to EaW.

Dunno why i suddenly think it would somehow be 'right'...

but, a bunch of acrobatic Yodas as a true Minor race could be a real knock out! :maybe:

Well in FoC Zann almost killed the hutts

and if you have any qestions i am a big star wars fan sence i was like 4. so i kind of know a lot on the subject.

Hmm speaking of the Black Sun, I was thinking mabye the Black Sun could replace the Pirates race so that the Black Sun would appear during the Pirate Mega event.

Well, the Black Sun are described as powerful and since the pirates appear to be powerful, I'd thought that the Black Sun would be better off replacing the pirates.

Hi everyone,

 

Sorry I have been away, I started practicum and am neck deep in clinical psychology reports and clients.  I am happy to see the Imperial pack is doing well, over 340 downloads, that seems like a good number.  I will try to find some time to finish the Republic soon then on to the Rebels.  If anyonne has a specific ship they would like to see, please feel free to request it here.

Also i'd like to see an SSD for the empire as a huge hull that or possibly the Eclipse (dunno if its doable)

 

EDIT: is there any other mods or anything needed to run this? cause i cant get them to work, i have the ultimate edition patched to 2.01 and i have the imperial ships files installed in the mygames blah blah folder In otherwords where their spose to be.

The UV mapping pool on that specific file makes the TerrorStar a multiple source of overlays & lights for plenty of other components though! Don't forget TA uses composite addressing for textures on everything.

Precision & patience might be in order but anyone can adapt these.

I am two options on this.  There are tons of minor races out there but some are REALLY minor and in not complete faction, even for a minor race so I am thinking of combining them alittle for example creating a Cartel Consortium to include the Black Sun and the Hutts and so on, sort of a Evil Rebel Alliance?  Or is it better to just make up stuff to fill in the gaps? 

The issue there is I want this to be a cannon as possible.  I have taken some liberties with the time line, IE the Republic will have ships from the KOTOR era through the Clone Wars, but they are all technically Republic ships.

 empire--->Sun Crusher (is as big as a b-wing and destroys star systems)/Eclipse-class star destoyer(it is more than 1,000 x as big as a Super star destoryer and has a mini superlaser that can breack the crust of a planet.)

Republic--->can continueosly make troops without losing anything can also do the same thing with veicles

Old republic--->dark forge(same thing except it makes massive fleets)

Rebals--->ion cannon (automatically disables a ship and makes it yours)

CIS--->can continusely make space ships

I wish aggie would return to gc2 I hoped he made our released his CIS or Pirate ships I love his empire pack he's probly playing x3 right now or sins of a solar empire.
