serial number problems

i tried intering my games serial number but it says that the serial number is not used by my acount. whats happening, and what can i do to register my game? I AM CONFUSED

I am have kind of the same problem. I brought a new PC and installed the game (GalCiv II D.L. Collectors addition.) when I try to play I get this Error Message: "The product appears to be validated but the serial number or the machine SDI don't match." The serial Number is correct. And I entered it again and updated it.

So my question is. What do I do now?
