More strange Forum behavior

Just noticed something funny in the forums. I replied in a thread and noticed that my Personal Icon did not appear. I then went to My Account and then to Update Images to see if both my Personal Icon and Personal Photo were still present (they were). Then I went back and lo and behold my Personal Icon now appeared in the thread. I refreshed my browser page and it disappeared again. I went back and forth in and out of the thread and it seems the appearance of the Icon was random. Sometimes it was there and sometimes it wasn't. Strange.

While on the subject of forum behavior are we ever going to get the medals displayed when using IE7?

Also it seem the forum stats section of the metaverse stopped updating however many months ago that the major forum changes were made. Are these gone forever or will they eventually start updating again?

I noticed the icon thing with Loupdinour. I was reading something that he had replied to and his pic was gone, and I was like weird he always had one. So I was reading another thing maybe 5 minutes later, and I saw another of his replies and his picture was there. Funky!

I noticed the icon thing with Loupdinour.

Depending on the age of the thread I didn't always have one. Those old threads don't show my avatar. I think just a few months ago I added a picture since I was tired of having an Altarian image. Plus it helped me find where I left off in a thread by finding my last reply.

It's the little one, the 50x50 pixels. The 150x150 only shows up in your metaverse profile.

Also if you change them there is perhaps up to a day of latency before the new one starts appearing although it may be as quick as a few hours.

At one point I tried to add a moustache in paint but it took quite awhile before it stabilized. In the end it looked like crap so I went back to my old standby.

I did not know that, but I made mine very soon after joining and (mostly) kept it ever since.
