first campaign mission doesn't end

I've wiped out the drength or whatever they are on the first campaign, and all that's left or those super-doods in the corner. I can't take them out since they have like 150 strength missiles. I could just sit there and tech up for a few hundred turns, but that can't be right.

How is this mission supposed to end??

You can take down Dread Lord ships by attacking them enmass. Get a bunch of ships in a fleet and wave after wave weaken them.

Dont worry about defenses, just load up on weapons that's a type they have no defense for.
