Dark Knight

Dark Knight

See it.

It was awesome.

The Joker was great.

There were a few surprises, and a few shocks. I jumped in my seat once or twice.
In deference to those poor souls who haven't seen it yet, I'll just post this:
"Why so serious?"

You are doing yourself a huge disservice by not seeing this movie.

That's right about Valkyrie, I'm interested to see that.

I think the fight at the end of Ironman was pretty good. I actually really like how they left Tony at only like 15% power while fighting him, suggesting that if he were anywhere near 100%, destruction would have been rained.

And both those movies look pretty interesting. Not so sure about Keanu Reeves, but I've always thought Jennifer Connelly is an awesome actress.

Dragon Ball movie what? Hasn't that died out yet?

The dark knight was awesome.

I loved the adaption of the joker much better than JNs version...

the joker Two face thing isn't a spoiler everyone knew the joker created two face.
End of quote

Actually if all you have to go off of is the comic book then yeah it is a spoiler since Joker did not create Two-Face in the comics.

Anyway I saw this July 17th, 11:59 pm. Loved it and look forward to the next one. Which Bale is under contract for.

no, she wants to do Catwoman. Christopher Nolan already said no Catwoman.

I wonder who will be the villan in the third movie.

Two-Face is the most likely, but he looked pretty dead to me. :p

A re-imagined Riddler (i.e., no green jumpsiuit with question marks) would make an excelent new villan, IMO. Of course, if we introduce a new villan every movie, we might go the way of {shudder} Shoemaker's (sp?) movies.

The crazier villans (Freeze, Penguin, Poison Ivy, ect.) are out of the running from the get-go.

And then there's Nolans version of Scarecrow. That guy freaked me out BIG TIME in the first movie, and I liked that he just wore a burlap sack over his face, instead of that ridiculous straw costume seen in the comic books.

You have a point with the two-face returning thing I mean in the first movie they made a note of the Falcone and morione crime families and Two-face kills falcone and takes over so that might happen. yet if we going for a list of all possible batman villians especially since the pulled scar crow and the brother hood out of the wood work for the first movie you get:

Anarky
Blockbuster
Bane- (He is plausible. come on they got away with a lot of drug related stuff in the first batman movie)
Riddler/clue master -(depending on whether hes from the comics/tv series)
Fire fly - (hes appeared in so many batman stories he just happened to make the list)
Fire bug - (same as above)
The mad hatter
Penguin - (I still think is possible just because its a genetic deformity not some mad science or other mumbo jumbo)
Scarface - (the Ventriloquist and Scarface)
Black mask - ( that guy in the iron mask)
Catwomen
The clock king
Mirror master - (but hes in superman comics too so Him not so much.)
Ink
Dr. cassandra - (not poison ivy thats Pamela Lillian Isley, they get confused)

These are the more popular batman villians that frequent the comic books and the cartoons I didn't mention Poison ivy of Freeze cause those guys are way over board But man I would love to see a freeze.

But seriously theres a huge list a batman villians they can pick from but those are the best of the lot.

My opinion is its gonna be either Two-face, Penguin, The Riddler, or Mirror master. I still hope for Freeze but I know that might not happen.

edit:
Oh i just looked around and I thought Hush Would be a good one he only ever had a 12 comic debut and never made it into the tv series cause it got canceled. hes still a prime villian though since him and bruce were child hood friends.

I was under the impression they left that ambiguous if that was some sort of joke then forgive me. I loved the Dark Knight I feel the next would of benefited greatly from having the Joker in it again. Obviously I understand why he won't be returning.

alright first off I doubt two faced is dead I have a feeling that nolan was going to have him die and just make the joker team up with anouther villain. however in the wake of ledgers death he cut the two faced dying part from the movie IMO

my feeling is two faced will return with riddler

OR

two faced is dead and the scarecrow teams up with the riddler it's been said before the riddler never seems to work alone.

P.S did everyone like scarecrows 30 second cameo in dark knight. haha

Seeing that this is Christopher Nolan's Trilogy why not end it with the same villain from the first one. Bring the circle to a close.

For DC comic fans you should know that the 1 villain who is the best at cheating death is Ra's Al Ghul. Why not bring him back. This would allow them to introduce his daughter Talia who has always had an attraction to Batman. Replace the romantic interest that died with Rachel.

Of course I'd like to see another villain added to this. My first pick would be Catwoman. That would bring an interesting love triangle between Selina and Talia. If not that then Bane who worked with Ra's Al Ghul before.

I don't think we'd see Poison Ivy or Mister Freeze. Riddler would be well too silly. Lets face it when it comes to arch-villains he doesn't exactly come close.

oh he did a good job but he ain't no criminal that would threaten the entire city or a 2 1/2 hour movie. Heck even Scarecrow wasn't enough.

meh idk i think the riddler would work he doesnt really need to threaten the city publicly like the joker did because now batmans public enemy number 1. so riddler would just set batman up in situations where he looks like the bad guy more and more. the scarcrow would be usefull in drugging up cops making them skitish to the point where they would exagerate what batman did. and all the while riddler is moving the pieces in the backround

idk it works for me

I loved Scarecrow's little cameo but I don't think he'd do it again we need other villains. Like Catwoman:

BTW in a not-so-recent meeting/call from Tim Burton to Kevin Smith about (I forget what. (sigh)) somthing to do with comics (non-Batman related) and Tim Burton directing a movie about said comics, got angry and told Mr.
Smith to in so many words,to shove it, and that he not do a movie based on a comic written by Kevin Smith and that he dosen't even read comics. to which Mr. Smith replied: "I guess that explains Batman."

This has nothing to do with Dark Knight, just makes you think why we hold the original Batman in such high regard, even if he was paraphrased out of context.

And Sick Pwn by the way.

Batman Begins/Dark Knight movie-wise I think is the closest we've come to the current comic of Batman.  Previous Batmen in the movies didn't care  too much if they killed the villain.
