Strange civ abilites

Cabinet??? Crime??? Interest rates??? I found those on tech tree editor... what the heck are those? And did i miss thread or post where these are explained?

The first two are 'vestigial' abilities from early in DL development that don't do anything. The latter changes the extra amounts that you pay when you use the pay-over-time rush buy options.

All of the abilities are described in the modding guide stickied in the mods forum (it hasn't been updated recently, but it's still mostly valid).

Except for the fact that as of last check, interest rates still does absolutely nothing in DL and DA.

While we're on the subject of weird abilities, I can't be the only person who can't figure out what "trade" does as opposed to "trade routes"! Does it increase revenue or something?

I believe the trade ability increases the income from a trade route.

Trade is is revenue and trade routes is the amount of trade rout you can have at one time.

EDIT: oh yeah, i'm pretty sure all 3 of those do nothing...definitely the first 2
