I got all kind of weapon tech from the start

Playing ToTA 1.96, alot of weapons are shown in the weapon tab in the ship designer, even when i did nt researched any yet, including blackhole errupter.
I didnt play for some time, so maybe its the patch or my install.
Any ideas what could cause this?
