Compiling Custom Ships Into One Set

Need help taking custom ships from different race styles and putting them in one.

I want to take ships that I have designed while playing the different races and place them in one appearance type. I read the "Making a player-usable custom ship style", but didn't see any way to take ship templates from different appearances and compile them into one.

Anybody know where I can find what I'm looking for?

Sorry no, but that would be nice, please post if you find it.

About the only thing I can think of that might work is to use Kryo's Hull Mod. I'm not sure if this mod is compatable with Twilight of the Arnor or the Metaverse. I've used it succesfully in Dark Avatar, but I was creating styles back then. (been a while since I played with this)

Actually all that should be necessary is renaming all your .shipcfg files in My Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor\Ships to have the same Sxx_ prefix.

If you want to create a shipstyle, you probably want to read through AsaRaceMod thread.

You'll find many instructions on that topic in there, you can also download AsaRaceMod, and just look at the structure and files.

Basically, there is no real difference between placing the ship files into ..\MyGame\Twilight or into any modfolder, except the userdefined tag must be deleted when in mod dir
