Has the United States annexed Europe? Did we annex Japan? I personally want my United States Government to call in all debts that every foreign country owes us. I want the United States Government, my Government, to stop all food shipments to all foreign countries. I would like to see all type of humanitarian aid to come to a halt. I think we should use all of it here in the United States first instead of helping people that hate us. I would like to see the United States military buildt up to the hilt and let the rest of the World fend for itself. I would also like to see our boarders totally closed. You foreigners hate us so much, you can stay out of our country and fend for yourself.

That egocentric way of thinking is what gives the US a bad name.
1) You realize that the majority of our products come from overseas. Putting an Embargo on ourselves would only hurt, not help. Its been done, and it didn't help a whole lot. If we do it again, its gonna hurt a whole lot.
2) So your perfectly content letting others die around the world, that you could have saved, only because their in a different country? That's sad, and pathetic.
3) By not helping other nations, you only fuel the opponents of the US. You would make the "superficial moron" stereotype come true. You wouldn't help foreign relations, you'd worsen them.
4) Oh, one more thing dude, are you Native American? No? I didn't think so. This wasn't your country to begin with. Closing the borders, would stop all foreigners from coming in, including people like you. I am so sick and tired of the ignorance of people from other countries that have no idea what they are talking abount and for some unknown reason think themselves as experts on the US. As for nuking Iran, we dont need to, conventional weapons would be more than enough as they cant defend against cruise missiles and stealth bombers.

The fact is that the US, if it wanted to, didnt have to put a single troop on the ground. We could have just used UAVs to scout and find targets and let bombers and missiles blow the country to kingdom come.

It would seem to be the case that the OP Iranian. A few things to keep in mind.
I am not American.

1) The US has the largest, most powerful military in the world several times over. The Americans spend nearly 10 times the yearly amount on their military as the next closest nation (Great Britain). US military spending accounts for nearly HALF of all the money spent on all the world's militaries combined.
"the rest of the world should gang up on the US" - obviously unreasonable, given technological superiority, networks of alliances (NATO) and nuclear weapons.

2) If the US wants to invade Iran, which I would remind people here is led by an extremist anti-semetic dictator, there would literally be nothing Iran could do to stop it. In fact, the entire middle east could not stop a US invasion of Iran. Iran's nuclear capacity would be eliminated in minutes by stealth bombers. The rest is academic.

3) The US doesnt even need oil from the middle east. There is probably more oil in NA than all of asia - and that is excluding the incredible reserves off the coasts of North America.

If you are Iranian, and you don't want to see the US invade your country, you had either better revolt against your extremist dictator and put a moderate (or democracy) in power, or pray that Obama gets elected. Seriously.

What you should not do is go on internet forums and make it sound as if Iran has any card to play against the US whatsoever. If the US invades, Iran and the entire rest of the world will be powerless to stop it.

The 48 states has 3 times more oil than all of the middle east, Plus what is in alaska and off shore. We are also the 3rd largest producer of oil, this with our hands tied.
