I've tried what I understand to turn on the cheat switch - putting a space and the word "cheat" after the target in the shortcut properties linking to the Twilight game itself.  I then start the game, go to the main menu, and type (control)R (or any of the other codes) - they don't seem to work.  In the case of CTL R, research does not advance; just seems to ignore the keystrokes.

Does anyone have any suggestions?  Has anyone gotten the cheats to work for Twilight, and if so did you do it differently from me?
