Installation Confusion

I just now bought the expansion bundle for GalCiv2 but I'm having a lot of trouble.
I can't seem to figure out how to ge tthe expansions working. It sent me the regkeys but I have no idea what to do with them or how to get the expansion content onto my PC.
I would appreciate a little instruction please.

Hey Vlad,

Go here to our downloads section of the site and get Stardock Central - our digital distribution application (at least until we switch over to our new app, Impulse).

Within Stardock Central, you input your registration keys for each game you've bought, and it'll allow you to download them.

As should be described in the email you received, you need to download Impulse or SDC, and use it to register (if necessary) and get the games. If you bought with the email address you have GC2 registered to, just go to the My Games tab in Impulse after you've logged in and install the expansions. If you used a different one, then you will need to register them via the little window icon in the top right (failing that, contact [email protected]).

I think I just figured out the problem...Does it make a difference that I never registered the original copy? I had forgotten that the copy I'm playing is one of my friends that he let me borrow. Am I going to have to buy my own copy of the original?

Yes, you need to have your own copy of GC2 registered to download the expansions.
