One question about buying galciv2

Hi, new guy here.(actually not that new, ive been reading a lot about galactic civilization)

Ive made the decision to buy the game, but i got a question.
I got nothing not even the first galactic civilization so i was wondering will i need to buy:

1-Galactic Civilization II Ultimate Bundle Pack 59.95
2-Galactic Civilization II Expansion Bundle      49.95

What i mean is, is it enough for me to buy dark avatar and twilight of the arnor? (cause i recall someone saying dark avar had the first game plus dark avatar), or will i have to buy the 3 games.

If you don't have the original GalCiv2 game, and want both DA and ToA, you'll need to purchase option 1, the Ultimate Expansion Bundle. This is the cheapest way to get the base game and both expansions. The $50 expansion bundle, with DA and ToA, will not work unless you already have original GalCiv2. The DA expansion, alone or in the Expansion Bundle, does not include the original game.

Another question does 'twilight' come with a manual when you order it with the CD. will this be sold in stores, and what stores?

No printed manual. You do get a .pdf manual. However, although it is titled "Twilight of the Arnor", it is (in a deception that should shame Stardock) the same manual from the Gold collection (which was a DA updated version of the original manual, which did come printed in the original GalCiv2: The Dread Lords physical box). Although a ToA manual update by Frogboy has been promised numerous times, it is still AWOL more than six weeks after release. In any event, as discussed in detail elsewhere (https://forums.galciv2.com/311556), the manual is pretty dreadful (unfortunately, a Stardock tradition); I doubt the update, would be a significant improvement. Frankly, I doubt we will ever see it.

Finally, ToA is not available at retail stores, only Stradock. This has only been stated at least 500 times.

so I found out as I read through the rest of the forums. this was the 1st that I started with. well time to start downloading!!
