DesktopX Workarea reset?

Ok so I uninstalled DesktopX however when maximising a window it covers the whole screen overlapping the Start bar. Anyone know where in the registry I can fix this as I bet it's a question that's already been asked.

Have you tried: r-click on the taskbar, open properties, and check 'keep the taskbar on top of other windows'.
