Hey, I am very anxious to try out this mod and I would greatly appreciate it if you could verify my account so i could download it from your site. It's the same as this one.

I had to reformat my computer now it says the file is corrupted so I need to re-download. My username requiring activation is jukem.

Sorry for reviving a topic that is probably dead, but why do we have to get access to download it? Was their a issue with this mod in the past or what?

The forums just require authentication, but there were problems with the mod... which will be gone with the eventual TA release.

But why doesn't it require normal authentication, which is email. Most sites just send you a activation email. Does he not want us to play his mod? Im late to the party i know. I just got in to this sort of thing, guess better late then never eh?

It may have been due to some issues between different Trek mods early on.. where there were hacks on the original web page... Though I can't verify that, so don't quote me

As i've said elswhere, Han often works away from home, and doesn't have the time to activite accounts on a regular basis.

And believe me, he does want people to play, but he's also determined to get the mod right. At teh moment, he's preparing a new TA release, that will initially have 4 races. This will be a test releases, and he'll want people to report any problems.. Once he's confident that everything is stable, he'll begin rolling out the other races.

I've spoken up for Han over here, and on his forums a lot recently. There's been a few people who have been straight out rude or ungrateful over forum access etc.... and I have to strive to point out that Han is working now by himself.
However, I remember how good the DA release of the mod was, and so I have every confidence that the mod, when released will be worth the wait.

However, anyone who has modding skills, and is willing to help, should say as much, and the mod will possibly come out a lot sooner.

I am sure none of you guys is using some official password and logins for forums, so I think it would not hurt. I would do the same right know, but it seems my travel passport will be done faster than this activation procedure.
