More than 9 opponents?

Is it possible to tweak the game in any way to be able to play with more than nine opponents?

No, the game is not made to handle more than nine majors as opponents (the UP screen would crash, among other things, as it only has ten slots).

You mean, the UI isn't made to handle more opponents. I remember Brad stating that the AI and game engine would have no problems with that.

I remember a mod doing this, replacing some dxpacks and IIRC some english.str changes. Can't remember if it was for DL or DA .

I couldnt handle more than 9 AI, that's why i suck at Civ 4.
