I'm running V2 - still have hassles. There is a known Forum Bug they are trying to track down.
One thing I have noticed which is interesting. When I use Firefox there is a continual stream of messages in the bottom left bar refering to brightcove.com (waiting for services, waiting for goku.brighcove.com etc etc), when that happens its slow to navigate away from a page, even crashes. When I use IE no messages like that are echo'd to the screeen, and I dont get nearly as much delay navigating pages.
The latter could be the difference on how IE is handling brightcove Calls compared to Firefox in terms of echoing it to screen.
It could also indicate the cause of this hassle, maybe its the recent use of brightcove? I have noticed with Firefox its still downloading / transfering data from brightcove and all I am doing is (say) going from Home Page to the opening Forum summary page, where there are no internet tv needs.
Wild guess, but maybe its the whole brightcove thing and how its handled that causes this? If brightcove use started around the time we got this hassle - I would certainly be perking up my ears on what brighcove are doing. Just a thought, not a "hate brightcove" campaign
