Loading custom maps?

Hi, I finally got TotA today, and I'm having trouble getting a custom map to load. I dled the Near Map from the library, and even made my own, but when I try to play them, I can't find em anywhere. On newgame, I looked in Custom Maps, but couldn't find either. I put them both in My Games> GC2Twilight > Custom Maps. Thanks for the help.

Are you playing a standard game or Metaverse? The custom maps and scenarios are disabled for Metaverse play.

Strange. Try putting it in Twilight\Data\CustomMaps instead.

yeah I found out today that the game is not seeing the maps in My Games> GC2Twilight > Custom Maps it did the same in DA

Can anyone tell me how to go about creating a custom map to play by myself, not online? I don't see a link or any sort of option to do that in the new expansion.
