Bugs with Ascension Starbases

1. Enemy Ascension Starbases vanish in the fog of war including the icon for the ascension crystal when zooming out. Only a white point where the icon for the starbase should be.

2. When moving a ship/fleet on an own ascension starbase, it will look like another random ship (where you can select and create fleets) instead of a starbase.

and a further bug with ascension bases, if you claim your enemies ascension bases they still appear to get the exposure to its effects and win.

I have just lost a game, via ascension, where I controlled all the ascension bases.

This happened to me as well. I got all of the Iconians Ascension-Starbases from trading. But the warning timer in the upper left corner did not vanish but still count toward Iconians Ascension-Victory. I had to take them out, which unfortunately did not work :P

Well, that is another matter... It should trade those, of course! But only if they are under massive pressure by the one who demands them.

Yea, it's a tough call on that whether the AI should do that or not. We'll wait until there's a consensus before making adjustments (not with regards to the weird FOW issue, we'll look into that right away).

There should be an "Abandon your Ascension Research" option IMO that you can try to buy or blackmail other races into doing, and AIs should try to persuade you to do the same when you are researching it.

I am currently playing a game, Yor was 675 turns away from claiming an assention victory, then the pirates showed up and destroyed almost all the starbases out there. Yor lost their assention starbases and it stoped counting their vicory and disappeared from the top of the screen, I've also controlled 1 assention crystal from almost the begining of the game and I also lost my assension base. I have now regrouped and took 3 of the assention crystals and I have no box in the corner listing my turns to victory? Why am I not getting credit for this?
