TOA manual updated?

has the updated manual for TOA been released? I know Brad mentioned he was working on it?

The last thing I read said they weren't planning on updating the manual.

I'm sorry but I can't accept this.

I am a loyal Stardock fan. But this is a fairly standard priced expansion. I am enjoying it but it seems like SO MUCH has changed that it's silly that there isn't an updated manual or official reference to the changes.

For example, with all the unique tech trees, there should be some expanded info on each race and how they play, strategies, list of unique techs. If there's changes to the economy, or new features like the Terror Star, I want to see it in writing. I'm just like that. And I want something from the developers, not wiki sites.

I'm under the impression that Brad said he is working on it and it got left behind as he was adding story elements, and he is planning to release it later.

I saw him mention that as well, though I don't remember which thread it was in.

I think I may have misread his post. Here is where he something about not generally covering content changes in a manual, only UI changes, of which there aren't many in Twilight. But then, as you point out, he said something about releasing an update to it in the near future.

So my apologies for being confused.

I think they may be waiting to see what changes we request for TA. Brad has already got over 200 posts on his thread asking what we want. No point in making a manual that is invalidated after a week.

I'm working on a TA update. But if you're looking for it to be a strategy guide, you'll be disappointed. It's designed to give a general overview of each race and hew feature changes (there aren't many actual "features").  It'll be 95% the same as the DA manual still.

Frogboy, yeah, I guess I was just looking for something that described the races a little more and shed a little more light on their general strengths and weaknesses since they are so unique now. Nothing big. Having a blast playing. Thanks again.
