As far as I know Stardock have no plans to take TotA to retail.

When you order online - download and CD - do you know what you get? IE manual or anything?

The CD is just a disc in a sleeve, for those unable to download the game or those who want an 'official' backup. Since we're not sending TA to retail, there's no actual retail box.
