Forum Ranks, Metaverse Medals, Member Number and Karma.......

Hi guys. A few questions to the devs.

What has happen with the forum ranks? I know it has been moved to your profile in favor of member number but is this a permanent move or will our ranks return?

Our MV medals have dissapeared. Will the MV medals be returning? They seemed to dissapear at the time Karma was implemented. Is Karma replacing our Medals?

Thanks for taking the time to respond to my questions...
Cheers,
Neilo.

I hope that the medals have only temporarily disappeared while they're being fixed.

Stuff like achievements not showing up or only DL games being considered for certain awards spring to mind.

The forum ranks should be back, as the karma guide states that the amount of karma you can give equals your access level.

Good to hear. :) Any chance the "advanced search" function will return too eventually?

Actually for advanced search Kryo's suggestion of using google with site:https://forums.galciv2.com/ seems to work pretty good for normal multi-word match type searches. But it fails miserably on the most basic of searches like a list of topics posted by a particular member.

A simple, *basic* search is desperately needed.

By a baisc search I mean just a list of posts that a particular member has made or a list of threads to which they have replied. Trying to do this in google is a real pain in the butarkis.

Can't you click on the user's name and select 'Find posts by...'? It seems to work well enough for me.

I don't think that tells you what posts they've replied to, does it? Please point me in the right direction if I've overlooked it.
