Should their be terriost or freedom fighters in Galciv 2?

As you play the game you may notice a event were terriost kill a head of state of some Civ, and causes the dead leaders civ and the civ which had the terroist to declare war on each other. I was thinking they sould play bigger part in Galciv because it would offer a interesting chalange. You could use your spies to find out were there bases are and then sent your invasion ships to destroy the bases which would stop the terriost attacks. Another thing could be when a Civ is conqured that freedom fighters spring up to take back their planets, they would operate like pirates but gain planets by having a revoulution if the public support is low on that planet, and the civ could come back if the captial is captured by the freedom fighters. If you like this idea and have any sugestions on how you would improve this idea, please go ahead.

From what I can tell, only in very rare cases do planets that you conquer have surviving enemy population. Given that ground warfare is fought to the death by your population fighting against the enemy population until every last one of them is dead, and only when using the Info Warfare tactic does any enemy population not fight to the death (and those who joined you WANTED to join you), it stands to reason that there wouldn't be any resistance fighters because you slaughter everyone.

what do you mean? there is still a population when you conquer it, its the soliders hwo die. There is no way you can have a population in the millions or billiones just afterar you conquer it.

I don't see why we can't have a terrorist civ in Galciv 3.

There's that special event in which a bandit faction takes half or the planets (or something) like that. It's pretty interesting.

No, you're wrong, actually. You have a population in the millions because you invade with millions.

The idea of the "Terrorist" element would be definitely and absolutely interesting to have however would be needed to be implemented with an optional choice in the menu, to support freedom of preference.
