That is an outstanding idea and should be implemented for sure. I still want to know what mods work for submitted and what ones do not. I have 3 new political parties installed played a game to the end, submitted to the Metaverse with no problems. What gives anyone know what mods will be rejected for sure?

I had 2 games I submitted a couple weeks ago, both with latest 1.03A.

I now have the latest 1.04 beta so I'll try to submit again tonight and post my results of failure or success.

Just submitted a Military Victory with the latest release version. I have shutdown all firewall software (even though I submitted two games before) just to be sure. Do you see anything on your end for my game?

No new score submitted by you. To bad it did not let you know either it worked or did not. Love the game but the metaverse sure needs a serious overhaul on its functionality. :notsure:

T Man, or anyone. Please respond to these issues about Metaverse submission problems. I submitted a Alliance Victory game Friday night using the Public version of 1.3 and it did not show up on Metaverse. We invest too much time in each game to not have our submissions counted. Please manually add my game score (as you have done before) so that I do not have to replay it from the the last save. If you can't do that then please advise as to what we should do when encountering these Metaverse submission problems. Thanks.

A prompt saying your submission failed or was a success might also help a little. The best thing is to fix the small bugs. The Metaverse is a very unique entertaining idea. Until it is working properly as advertised that is all it will be, just an idea. I love you guys, but this one thing is really bothering me. One of the most unique aspects of GC is the metaverse. PLEASE fix it ASAP guys we need this venue for our own selfish motivations and egos.

I'm frustrated with the scoring. I had worked up to position 74 with a score around 7000. When they "recalculated", I dropped to position 149 with a score of 4000 something. What is even worse is the other person in my empire has a score of over 5000, but only played a few games, and NONE of his games come close to my average scores. Why is my score lower than his? I played 9 games, most with 2000-3000 points!

All the scores have not yet been recalculated.  Doing that today.

Are saying that my game didn't register with Metaverse because all the scores are beig recalculated. And does that mean that after the scores are recalculated my 9th game will appear on Metaverse? If this is true than it'sgreat but I have one sugestion. You guys know when things like this are going to happen so a little advanced warning about it save as all a lot of stress and effort. Thanks for the excellent support T-man.

Well, I just submitted my 16th game twice and it still hasn't shown up. Presumably this is because of the Metaverse's ongoing score shakeup. Perhaps TPTB could let us know when it's finished, and submissions have returned to normal

Should we bother to keep reporting that submissions are not reaching the Metaverse or have you guys given up on fixing it and moved on to other programming tasks?

Still waiting for someone at GalCiv to respond to the Metaverse Problems we are currently STILL experiencing. If you can't fix it right away that's fine but just tell us what's going on so we don't continue to waste time re-submitting games to Metaverse for nothing.

I have upgraded to patch 1.04 and STILL can't get a game to show up in the Metaverse!!!!! I have submitted a total of 6 games in the last 2 weeks and NONE of them have shown up, so I am still not listed in the metaverse!

How long will it be before this problem is fixed? Should I bother to keep checking? Should I ask for my money back? I like the game, but the Metaverse is NOT performing as advertized!!!!!

I have also been waiting over 10 days for an answer to my email about the problem! Most companys answer in 24 to 72 hours!

I enjoy Strategy First's games, but their customer support sucks big time, so far in my experience!

Sorry for the delay in responding.  I'm still investigating the problem and do not have an answer for you at this time.  Hopefully I will have more information for you early next week.  Thank you for your patience while we get this worked out.

Hello all! I too have not been able to get games to upload to the Metaverse. I uploaded all of one game after the first week or so of buying the game, and since then not a single other one of my games has posted. Any help or ideas certainly would be appreciated. I am currently running the latest version available from Stardock Central, and have had no other problems to date.

I agree that the Metaverse situation needs to be addressed ASAP. However, I do not agree that we should start accusing Stardock or Strategy First of not having good customer support. That is just silly and you know it. LOL I do WISH it would be fixed real soon myself but I sure will not start resorting to calling them bad with support.
My score never showed up until I created an Empire. Then every game has submitted fine for me. The only thing I do not understand as I said before is the scoring. If I score 1177 please give it to me. :notsure:

I cant even register my player. Im new to the game, and havent even finished my first game, but after inserting my player name and serial number, i get a "this page cannot be displayed" error... any help? Do i need to finish a game first? Even if i do, I doubt its the problem, as I would (I assume) be sent to a "finish game first!" page, not an error page.

I would say do it again I never had that problem myself. As I stated I had to create an Empire before my scores would show up. The Metaverse is the only problem not the game itself. I hear your woes though dude. Not sure why they are not working hard on Metaverse as they do at GC updating it. :notsure:

IonMage, you definitely don;t need to finish a game first - sounds like 'intermittent internet conditions' to me - try again, and GL.
(BTW, there is a better section on this stuff in the new manual - see if it helps at all.)

I just noticed that all of the scores have been changed for the CDG Creations League Empire. How in the world are you calculating the scores? I had a Empire personal score of over 1500 now it is super low it makes no sense. Can one of you Dev people please explain why you do not simply post the scores from the actual game we played in the metaverse?

Its still not working... the rest of the site (forums, library, etc) loads fine, maybe someone should look into this...

I'm also having the same problem. I submit a game to the metaverse and it doesn't show up there. Can we get an ETA on the fix for this? Thanks...
