...say it ain't so..... So as not to be party to this degradation of your intellect, I'll assume the USB is not plugged in and AutoPlay tab is checked in CD properties (if it's either one of those...you're fired). Using your machine, burn it to another CD. Run the burn job.
Nope...still not that silly...
Wasn't connected before install attempt....and I learned lots about autoplay and autorun V2 till 2.30 am ....and it's none of that.
The issue is that my machine is reading the disk as a Mac install...not a PC one.
Terry's machine sees the disk as it should be....autorun.inf and all.
I copied what hers saw to a USB stick...and installed on mine from there....rough and ready work-around...
Latest theory is my messing around with a Mac drive emulator has convinced my 'autoplay' that a Mac/PC install disk is only a Mac one...so I'll cull the proggy and check...
