Buy DA and TA without credit card

PayPal works without a credit card. I don't have one either, but you can choose to 'upload' money to your PayPal account or via GiroPay let them deduct the money from your bank account (at least it works with German banks).


The English version probably works with your original French, but you may get a mix of the languages in-game. So it's better to uninstall first, then install the complete package in English.

I can also only advice to use paypal. I am german as well and paypal is free, the payment with it on ebay and other online shops is very uncomplicated. Actually once you successfully registered it is only a matter of clicks and it translates currencies immediately, so it is really good for anthing concerning international payments. Just check paypal.com and see how it works.

I too have used paypal without giving them my credit card information.  So it's definitely possible.

Concerning the french version, if you really want to play in French you should try to look at the unofficial french translation here http://trans-galactique.forum2jeux.com/ 

What is your version of GC2? You will need to update it in order to be able to play DA. And that requires that your GC2 serial id is linked with your e-mail. And you really need to use the same e-mail when ordering from Stardock.

Before buying DA and TA, you should check that you can update with SDC your current installation of GC2. Just in case you found that your serial id is unusable. If you don't use TGN token, you may want to buy directly the GC2 ultimate bundle pack (with GC2:DL + DA + TA) available here https://store.stardock.com/browse/mygames as its costs 59.95 $ when DA and TA costs 29.95$ each. That way you will be sure to have a working serial Id for GC2

Yes, I prefer to play in french, so this can be useful.   

My DL version is v1.4x, (box version updated with galactic_civilizations_ii_dread_lords_patch_v1.40x_multi-langues_26993.exe).

I will try to download the english version with SDC (or may be Impulse) to check my serial id, and if it works, I will go certainly for this pack:

It doesn't seem available via TGN with Tokens at this time.

I would try to install both versions at the same time (one in french and the other in english), but I don't know if it's possible.

The unofficial french translation seems to replace english files, what will happen when new patches are available and some files are replaced, there is certainly a need for a new install of the french translation (after a new translation).
Can this unofficial french translation be used as a Mod (start the game in english and select the Mod "french")?
Maybe a solution to be considered to address the problems posed by the English version patches, and so, always have an english version to date and "clean", then replace the Mod "french" when available.

Well, I downloaded the DL english version with SDC without problem (not yet installed).

Now, I have a technical question concerning the payment by Paypal, must I have the same e-mail address for my PayPal account and my Stardock account, or could it be clarified during the payment?
