Twilight Beta 6 Loading Crash

This was in a previous post, but since the update Beta 6 (?) from Friday, as soon as I load my saved game it crashes.  Someone suggested a zip file, I extracted that in windows/system like the readme file said, but with no change.  PLEASE HELP!  I'm in the middle of a long Immense galaxy game and I am jonesing to play it.  I didn't save the previous versions, but I am now, but I need advice!  HELP!!!   X-(  X-(

Unfortunately, the best course is to start a new game with each beta.

I hate losing games in the middle too, but with betas it sometimes just can't be avoided.

Is there hope that it will work with the next beta? Or that that next update will be tomorrow? I'm going through withdrawal! I've always been into the games that are huge and last months, that's my problem.

I love the same types of games, and no there is not much hope. With the beta process or even updates sometimes the fix to the new game breaks a save game. I wish I had better news for you, but I don't.
It is the price of playing a game that is constantly trying to make itself better.

Yeah, this is the first beta I couldn't wait for and had to play. I guess I learned my lesson.
