The glorious miner fleet

I'm playing the latest beta (6) as the Altarians and currently the Terran Alliance is fielding a huge fleet of Space Miners.
All of their planets are filled with miners and they have a military rating of 0.

To be more specific, they have 26 planets and all of those I can see are filled to the limit with Space Miners. That's at least 260 space miners fielded !???

Processing a turn is slower than in my other Huge games, and I have a hunch it's related to this.

I'm submitting a savegame to Stardock as soon as I finish posting, but has anyone encountered this before?

Yeah, hordes of Space miners, eventually moving on to 0 weapons, 1 shield defenders, and then eventually (if they survive) some quite respectable battleships. But as they don't seem to launch the Space Miners, Earth and several other planets are effectively neautralised as ship-building colonies until my Armada of Doom shows up to lay waste. Not seen quite as many in my games though...

Yeah, I had this happen to me and I reported it way back in November. I guess it is still happening sometimes.

I actually made the mistake of attacking them and then they started building Battleships that wasted my small/medium ships. Damn. :p
