Hi Everyone,

I was curious, once I create a scenario, where to I place the .scenario file in order to use it?

I believe you should place your scenarios in Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor\CustomMaps. Correct me if i'm wrong. Thanks.

No you gotta place it in the scenario directory.
I believe its placed at galciv2/darkavatar/galciv2/data/english/scenarios
Put it in there and it will pop up in your scenario list in the ingame menu.

I also heard cari say you can put it in the mods directory, so if this doesn't work, try the mods directory.

If that doesn't work, use one of the already made scenario's in the directory i stated above and change it to your likings, thats what i did and that works for sure!

No, you don't want to put it in the Dark Avatar directory.

The best place to put it is in the Mods\Data\Scenario directory and enable mods.

Cool thanks for the feedback! I put in in the Mods\Data\Scenario directory and I see it now in the scenario drop down.

Interesting though, it does not seem to work properly. I created a simple scenario, player is Terran and three other races. I gave all the techs possible to the Terran (I wanted to be master of the universe and see the new weapons and stuff). I started TA, selected my scenario, NEXT through the remaining screens. The game loads and the initial screens pop up for selecting homeworld build and then the select the tech to research. It is there that I do see that I own any of the techs other than the typical ones you start with.

Did I missing something or is it a bug in the tools/game?

Thanks

I created a scenario, player is Terran and I gave all the techs possible to them... The game loads and I don't own any of those techs...

I fixed this today.  Will be in our next Beta update.  Thanks for finding it.
