Single Mod/Ship Request

Text modding and the like I can do myself, graphics modding is beyond my capability.

I only have one real gripe with the game.  To me there is no "true" fighter in it.  The "fighter" size ships seem more like mini-ships to me than a true fighter.  One of my favorite mods I've found has been to include the Thunderbolt Starfury from B-5.

If there is any modder with graphics capability that is still making mods for Dread Lords I have a request.  If someone could make a hull of the Su-30/35.  I've always liked the look of Russian Aircraft, and would like something that actually looks like what I identify as a fighter.  If anyone wishes to give it a try the following link is to a video that shows the craft from all aspects.

I'm not going to be too beggy about it because I know modding is time consuming, but its beyond my capability to make something like this.  If anyone would care to give it a shot I'd appreciate it.

 

Now the FireFox would be Metal, but I won't get ahead of myself.  Hopefully someone with graphics editors has a lot of free time on their hands.

Join dseps team he's making a mod that uses fighters like that its called the bringers of the light.so be patient our learn how to make ships yourself youll be surprised how easy it is.

I totally agree I wish they hadn't organized the hull types like that, ie tiny, small.. and so on.

Fighter/ bomber, gunboat, frigate, destroyer, cruiser, capital ship would have been better. It would really be a balance or equation of speed, agility, fire power, and protection and cost. Each would have its own advantages and disadvantages the cool thing could have been that each race could have had different specs like the humans might have had really cruisers or destroyers where as the Dregin would have had better Capital ships or something.

To Aggie-Yeah, that's the kind of hull naming system we're using in The Bringers of Light.

Go to here it. I wish the Stardock team would have gone that direction, its one of those little things that I can find fault with a other wise great game.
