there is a tech or a wonder that comes out wrong

This tech/wonder states that you can now put the survey module on all ships.  but when you go to put survey on your ship all it does is reduce the cost to zero.  It should reduce the size to zero That is the only way you can put it on any ship.

Yeah, it doesn't give you the ability to just have all ships survey. Anyone know if this can be abused to give your ships infinite sensor range?

Sensor range is hard capped at 15 parsecs, so...no.

As far as the Galactic Guide Book goes, it's really useless either way. It costs enough to build that by the time you get enough survey ships out the door to break even on it, you're losing a fair portion of the colony rush, and even if it worked properly and reduced the survey module to 0 size, this wouldn't really affect anything as it's fairly small to begin with; really the only difference is -maybe- an extra engine on a tiny or small hull.

Are these hard caps in a file somewhere you can edit?

It is hard coded in the .exe, so it is not moddable.

I usually get this wonder as soon as it is aviable like all the others.

ALL the others? Then maybe its time to move the difficult up a couple levels :)

3 survey ships are more than enough. Even with only 3, i get those damn annoying "your survey cant find any anomaly and will stay in stand by mode" every couple turns. I think ill start playing with rare anomalies, so 1 ship is enough...

I meant the other wonders and resources although most I do not speed build.
