SDC on the go?

Hi

It would be great if SDC could me made portable, e.g. on a USB drive, that would allow us to download the latest update from pretty much any computer with a live connection and an accessible USB socket without having to install it when you roam

Sandisk makes a USB that you can run programs from. If you could install SDC and GalCiv to that, you could then theoretically play galciv from many computer.

Making SDC itself portable while keeping the game on local machines however could lead to piracy issues. You could then pass around or have multiple USB's with an authenticated SDC to install the game unlimited times on unlimited machines.

OK I may have been unclear in my initial post

I just meant making SDC portable in order to download archive updates AND install them later on an off-line PC to update a registered copy.

I didn't mean to say that I wanted to make the game portable
