Logistics Problem during the disease mega event in TA

I am playing a game on a large map with the Drengin. A few turns ago I had the mega event where a disease breaks out. I immediately researched the cure, whitch took 3 turns. During that time my logistics rating was zero.

I am running the new 0.96a[b].006 version.

That event reduces all abilities to zero. Logistics is an ability.

Ohhh i love that one. I got the cure in one turn, the AI, well they didn't.

Their soldering and morale were so low, that when using Information Warfare i was ending the battle with far more troops than i had on the transports.

Well in my game everyone was researching the cure.

Only the Terrans had a problem, because their economy had a break down. But I traded it to them. I wanted them to remain strong, to be a challenge.
Yes, even Drengin can be nice.
