Megaevent: Dread Lords

The dread loads came to the galaxy. A megaevent? The very first thing they did was to contact me and offer peace. I could trade nearly all of their technologys - just for a peace treaty. (Or just a shitload of money) That does not sound like a mega event... Why do they talk to me at all? (I used the beta 0.96a.004)
