TA Latest Beta enemy ship HP goes up after attack

So it wouldn't let me post in the beta section it said stardock forums down click here to go back or go to home page, so I am puting this here and someone can move it for me.

In a couple of games that I have played recently I build a small ship with missile attack 75 (3 nightmare torpedos) my suicide ship if you will, and engage a ship with like 150 attack and no defenses and their hp jumps from 2 out 50 to like 16 out of 60?  Sometimes they are not even the Arceans which always get first shot in battle.  Even if they are the Arceans after I am destroyed I still shoot and they should have 1hp left right?  Anyone else seen this?  Is this is bug or is there some other factor like when a ship gains a level after the attack?  Let me know.

I'm not totally sure how experience works, but ships do gain some HP when they gain experience levels. I often have fighters flying about with 10/8 hit points. This seems likely to have happened in your case.

It's probably that they're gaining levels, particularly if your ships are a decent match, i.e. good experience.

Elvis, that's something else-ships in orbit repair faster/more than ships not in orbit, but, as for population, the cap doesn't apply until after the growth/repair is done. So say you're at 7/8 hp, and you're in orbit, and you recover 3 hp. You don't cap at 8, you go to 10/8, and then stop repairing.

There is strange bug going on that i notice especially with capital ships. If your ship gets "destroyed" with low lp but still survives due to higher attack, its hp will loop back around to around half its total. You can easily try this out by cheating. I first noticed something strange with a ~800 hp dreadnought. I attacked a planet when it was extremely close to dying and had its health returned almost to full after the attack. A bit counter-intuitive i think :D.

I've had this happening all the time the 1st hit point number should never be larger than the second I believe im right in thinking.

Good I am glad I am not the only one seeing this qwerky little bug. Its kind of rediculous and frustrating when an enemy ship is like indestructable without any defenses.

Perhaps the AI is displaying the numbers in reverse order.
