Tired of everyone getting battleships 100s of turns before you?

There is an easy way to kill someone elses battle ships. Just click on them and press the deactivate red x. Poof they are gone. Neat bug. Works on all ships.

They're cheating.

Seriously they are.

Here's the problem:
What techs should the AI research and in what order? This is a tough thing to do.

Our solution for release is as follows:
Those who participate in the Metaverse have their strategies recorded as well as their scores (if this is a problem, the user doesn't have to participate in the metaverse). Hence, if you select a really smart AI oppoonent, it can query the database to see what technology choices players have made.

In essence, in GalCiv, when you play against a smart AI, you're going to be playing against a simulated human. Only thing missing is getting rushed and the profanity which we may provide as a non-free add-on that randomly sends profane messages to you... :d

ahh ok, makes me feel better :)

I thought I was missing some fundamental strategy here...

phew :)

I'm sure that after all of that AI programming you've managed to compile quite a list of profane messages already so you might as well make that standard... think of it as Sinistar taken to the next level :)

How much will the profanity add-on cost? ;)

Personally I am turned off by profanity. Will I be able to use an option to prevent it?

Cheers,
Jack

It was just a joke. Not going to have the AI send comments to you either way.

Paul: you could always make your own version by changing the text in English.str. :D

I think I'll pass on that Cari! But thanks for the thought :)
