RGB Question for devs...

Is the new RGB entries for political parties a test bed for possibly doing the same thing with the races colors??? (holds breath with anticipation ;))

I'm sure that could be done. It won't be as high on the priority list as other things, I'm afraid. :( Perhaps it's something I can get in on my off hours (since we've had a few players ask for it).

As a sort of related question,

Do you think it'd be feasible to add functionality to add more minor civs? That is to say, add new names and descriptions to the possible pool from which to draw?

Scott - you have off hours??? ahahhahahah (wipes tears from eyes) sure you do! LOL

Seriously though it would be a VERRRY cool enhancement and yes many people have asked for it (complaining that certain race colors look too close together...)

Is there any chance of a "developers diary" or a list of things that you and the other devs will be working on in some sort of order?

I know everybody has a different opinion of what should be addressed when, but it would be cool to see where you guys are headed so we have na idea if a chance is forth coming soon-ish

(On a personal note - my big "hope" that I hold out for on each build is that ship names will be drawn from the name field in the .ship files for race built ships and on the planet build list so we see Colony Ship & Survey Ship 43 instead of ColonyShip or SurveyShip 43 ;p )

Gahhh... well newly built enemy ships still pull the names from the title instead of the ship name (or else from that hardcoded list in the .exe), but still it's nice to see my own ships displaying the proper names with spaces and all!!! :D

The Color values in the politcal party DO work in latest build of game. I made a political party called the Conquerors (think War Party with a Republican's appreciation of military might) and altered the color values to all have 15 and the political party appeared black (my goal) in the senate window. Now it was a little TOO dark, so I will add a 10 spot to each to make it more grey and it should be sweetah.
