MOO3 and a comparison
from
Stardock Forums
i have just downloaded and started my first game and had to post this for any doubters or people who have drifted over from MOO3 as i did.
This game is excellent and i cannot recommend it enough almost as good as moo was bad.
Someone described moo3 as the emperor's new clothes and reading the forum at moo i'd say it was more the emperor's new underpants.
In MOO3 you switched on the computer and then read a book whilst the game plays itself and you try to convince yourself that you are controlling the galaxy with Galciv you don't even know of the existence of books let alone time as you really do take on your own virtual galaxy.
In every way this game wallops the hide out of the creaking moo diplomacy, tactics, graphics, ideas, events, research and on and on........
Sorry to be so for one and against another but like alot of people i so wanted moo3 to be like Galciv that i am just glad i heard of galciv and returned moo to the cowpat ridden field it belongs to.
