Ok guys, to answer your questions:

Yes, Novocastrian stands for newcastle upon tyne. I'm half french half italian but live in the UK and also a big fan of NUFC, so I have to balance my passion for europe with my passion for the team. So here is the deal: I'll change the empire's name to European Alliance (or something else, we'll need a vote) once more people join.

Forget about the UN: our mission is precisely to create a bipolar system, s the rule of international lore obviously is not being respected.

I'm ALIVE! Any point in posting games also? I've been Victoria for three odd weeks, until my eyes started to bleed from the strain, are there any good gaing news (vis-a-vis úpdates) since early november that can make me interested in playing again? Plz comment :D

Hi Orpon,

Good to see you around again. Games news: The minors have started colonizing outside their home sector, the AI has gotten better at detecting your ships...hmm probably a few more tweaks, but i don't remember. The currenet version is a big buggy, but the word is that it should be fixed any day now.

The really goods news is that version 1.2 is coming (expansion pack)- if you have the time check out this (the Galciv plan for this winter) http://www.galciv.com/index.asp?action=full&NewsID=424

I dont think we have to mind about the JR. They are now 210K behind us. We should start the preparation to fight against the special forces, if we want a real enemy not only lame civilians ;)

I never did get to the European Alliance, Jedi Republic or Canadian Star Federation, all of which are Open empires. The more I thought about it, it really felt awkward focusing on empires in the Top 5. The whole point to the Weekly Spotlight Empire was to showcase empires who needed a little help with recruitment and exposure.

I think it was a mistake spotlighting the MWC and Fellowship, without doing the others. Obviously, Special Forces' Invite Only policy steered me away from them. I apologize for not spotlighting you, the Jedi or the Canucks.

No problem, you also forgot to mention the achievement of the biggest game submiter of the Metaverse (ME), but nothing wrong on that, anybody can submit 180+ games. ;) I will not be able to post any games at least for 2 weekks, no internet access. (:(
