Oh, I try to kick someone here to life every couple of weeks or so, but these Euros only know how to score, not post. Such a boring crowd. But such is the lot of the Spymaster. As long as any empire is alive enough to stay in the running, I got to visit once in a while.

Alright, no worries. Maybe there's not enough common things to talk about - we are simply such a diverse crowd?! More unity and background is required. Bring on the old myths and stories. Some kind of rally and call to arms would sure be nice though. We seem to have a large and competent member base so building on from that could eventually produce a much higher ranking

Some kind of network lag going on still, the blaster or that power grid hit still slowing things down. So thats why my extra postings, very sorry about that. My next tactic will be trying to establish a fast path to Maso victory. This is an awesome well balanced game and there does not seem to be any major shortcuts out there, but still....maybe still a reasonably fast method for clocking out a couple submissions per day can be established, even at the Maso level Right now looking very promising indeed. I'll keep you posted, but maybe we need to arrange a more secure communication channel also....too many eyes are watching!

Cranking up some tiny Maso submissions, in the hopes it will keep us afloat a little longer near the top crowds.

While waiting for the expansion pack, how about the ultimate "Paperweight on the Enter key" strategy that would allow finishing the game much faster though - and easier. Spending too much time adjusting every single slider right now. Yes, it works well and is effective, but it takes so long "real" play time too.

Now wondering if there is a way to take the playing to a higher level, and just focus on the long term victory in the end. Forget micromanagement and hope that the AI wont throw us out too early. An ultimate master strategy that would allow you just to have a cursory look every turn -one or two top decisions, max 1min - and hope that by year 2010 or so we'll still be hanging out in there. Clearly this approach would hurt all progress quite a bit, but doesnt matter if the end result is a victory anyway. Hallucinating...maybe?! That must be the next test anyway!

With the ANZAC's on the move the Europeans have just hoken up and comming out of hibernation I see.. Don't think that this will save your position on the top ladder.. Theoden looks down from the ridge into the fields below. From his vantage point, he can see vast armies gathering on his left and right. The Euros seem to be awakening from their long slumber. A bit slow and unsteady after their hibernation, they ready their war weapons in anticipation of the coming storm.

The ANZACs have marched onto the field, strong and battle hardened, as they emerged from their difficult past. Their armies now replenished after the defections, the proud ANZACs stand ready for the assault, only awaiting the sound of the battle horns.

A deafening silence blankets the field, as each combatant eagerly anticipates the call that will lead them to victory.

And then, through the valley, a lone trumpet blasts. It's eerie sound echoes through the trees and across the creeks. It's volume slowly increases as one by one, the hundreds of trumpets join the first, climaxing in a crescendo of sound that stirs every warrior into a fit of fury.

And the armies charge each other, weapons stretched forth as though they might strike at any moment...

And the Metaverse waits...
