Ever get the feeling that you are the only person in your workplace that has an IQ larger than your shoe size? The insanity that surrounds me is the reason I started this blog. I should have started writing about the lunatics here a while ago but never thought anyone would want to read about these wingnuts, which is probably still the case but at least I will have some small measure of satisfaction by putting my frustrations into a forum where others can commiserate.
I AM going to use real names in my rants because it is unlikely that anyone that works here who appears in these postings can work a computer with enough proficiency to find these entries.
I quit this asylum last week and I am headed for the promise land in less than one week. The president of the company, Brock, is without a doubt one of the dumbest individuals I have ever come across. During his tenure he had 5% bottom line growth when he repeatedly projected 10% per year, laid off 20% of the workforce to try and save his job, promoted numerous morons into positions they weren't qualified for and lost 3 customers (we only have 15 so losing 3 is a big deal). The only reason he ever got the job was because his dad was a Senior VP at Pepsi and has loads of cash, which he is apparently using to bribe people into giving his moronic kid a job. My silent retribution has been the occassional dousing of his highly coveted chair with my urine. I felt the symbolism was appropriate and my DNA will stain his pants for years to come.
During the next few days I will reflect back on my tenure here and cover a few choice topics - sexual harassment and why it never happened to me, things I would like to do to the morons that work here, how not to run a company and the value of allowing employees to download porn at work.
