Crash to desk with GalCiv-AP

from Stardock Forums
I have not been playing Galciv and AP for months, so I reinstalled it.
First, I put Galciv (french version), then update via Stardock central.
Then, AP and update via Stardock central.
The only mod I put was the mod in order to get red ships for Drengin.

But I have crashes, and they are very heavy: they reboot my PC (XP)!!!
What is the problem? :sniff!:

I would recommend to install it completely from Stardock central. When you mix localized versions and the English version it can lead to problems.

Are the crashes happening when you try to start Altarian Prophecy, or can you get to the main menu?

Those crashes happen in the game...
I'm quietly playing, then CTD... :( And it reboots my PC!

First: desinstall GC:AP from your computer
Second: if you haven't donr it yet, update SDC to the latest version
Third: register your serial Id (for GC and AP). Tools -> register products and then choosing Games on the left side and entering the Serial Id with the associated games. You can always use Lookup serial number to a an e-mail with all your serial ID
Fourth: go to instal the games from SDC (like you have done the patching)
