Help. Not able to update from SDC

For some reason I'm not able to update GalCiv from SDC. My friend has his working but mine is not :(

I start up SDC and go to the software tab and I'm expecting to see that there
will be an available version to download (1.02). But no, there is not. What I see is the
following tabs:

Name Installed Available Updated Action
GalCiv 1.01 -------- 04/04/2003 -----

No matter what I click on all I get is a message to either run the game or uninstall it. Nothing about the beta update. When I look under the tools/settings menu I have the 'turn on alpha/beta previews' box checked.

Any idea's why I can seem to see any of the updates?

I had the same problem and had to enter my registration info again. In SDC, select "software", and right click on the "dregin.net" tab, selecting "edit account". If you only purchased Gal Civ and not Dregin.net, select that from the drop down box. Enter your account info and serial number, and click on "register". After you do this it should update SDC and list the latest versions. If not, try to click on "Tools-Refresh Application Data". Hope this works for ya! ;)

Hallo :(

Same problem!
I now have done like A Lobos said.
Yes, now there are an update Button 1.01 to 1.02.
But if I click on UPDATE, than the Download is about 84 MB!?*#?!
And I have the CD-Version !!

What goes wrong?

I've not had this problem, so I can't speak from experience. Have you downloaded and installed the bonus pack and multimedia? I read before that some had done this, then hit refresh application data, and it took correctly. Others mentioned reinstalling Gal Civ, but I don't know if it would take that drastic of a step to correct. Sorry I can't help more on this. If I come across anything else, I'll let you know.
