This game YELLS for a Strategy Guide !

There are so much games that sell "Strat Guide" that are not much more than manuals >:( , but GalCiv could warrant a high-quality Guide, with the whole range of strategies available, use of StarBases, Diplomacy, making war, each subject is good for a thorough analysis ! It reminds me of the first Panzer General, relatively simple game but with many possibilities, that had a very good guide.
And it will help newbies ... ;)

Someone should just write a FAQ on www.gamefaqs.com
It should include various methods to win, different strategies, etc.

Unfortunately, just like the manual, any strat. guide published would be outdated as soon as it hit shelves, given the frequent changes to the game via updates. :) Not that I'm complaining!

The is one FAQ noted in a sticky above. I haven't viewed it in a while but it was looking pretty good. Look to the top threads. Of course a full PRO stategy guide would be interesting.
