need help

from GalCiv2 Forums
i just ordered the digital download of TA and when i try to download it, it says:


and the error log says

is this because i bought TA with a different email than the one i used for DA?

It's a beta. You have no right to complain.(disclaimer: you do, technically, have a right to complain, but it's stupid)it's not stupid when you're in the middle of trying to switch your mod from a DA one to a TA one.

Actually, I apologize. In as such, I wasn't complaining about you and I understand your frustration. I'm just pissed off by all the people who get angry at Stardock, viz. 'OMG WTF ive waited 8 ***** hours and It doesnt have CUSTOM RACE WTF'.

Dodo, try switching the servers? I know a certain beta only appeared on one and not the other so... you might be able to get the beta that has come before the update (the one they will "fix" tomorrow will be new I think)

but as of a minute ago no go.

I have been trying to get the beta for the last couple days. As of right now... I cannot download it. I have tried all of the suggestions above.

Yeah kryo, I still can't download today's release: 0.96a[b].006. I've tried US-1, US-2, refreshing the XML data, and restarting SDC. The update to GalCiv2 version 1.50.135 went fine.

Interestingly enough, when I click the button to refresh XML, it does a whole lot of nothing, where normally it downloads quite a few megs worth of data.

Someone updated the wrong server (:(

I'm going to start having withdrawal symptoms pretty soon. It's like I can't do anything else until I get this update downloaded.

This is my most recent error log from SDC application. On the games list page it says I have version .96a[b].004 and that .96a[b].006 is available and when I press the "update" button next to it I always get an error.

Glad they fixed it. I'll have to give it a shot when I get home. Hopefully it'll still work.

DSep: I find it amusing you decided to go into all threads people wrote about this topic and mention that it's now working. I guess that's one solution to the problem that too many threads were created about the topic. :)
