700% Manufacturing bonus

Bonus tiles are not limited by difficulty.

I'm playing Maso and I just took a Thalan planet that had a Precursor library on it. And my next turn or so i'll be taking one of these that has that 700% bonus to production. Those jerks had BOTH.... that explains a lot.

I don't think it varies with difficulty but I do think the probability of the number of bonus tiles and total bonus amount does vary with galaxy size. This is probably a good thing since the smaller the galaxy the more unbalancing a large bonus tile can be.

Well, yeah, the more tiles are available the higher the chance of one being there. Doesn't also the trait Luck play a role in its appearance? ( at least on the home planet)

My luck must be stuck at -10. I can count the number ot times I've gotten 2 of these on one planet on 1 hand in the past 2 years lol.

99% of the PQ13+ planets I get have NO bonus tiles at ALL.

Just wondering what this is 700% of? I got one of these tile recently, and the total research points of the planet it was on, once I built a research facility, did not increase by 7 times. It was more like 2.5 to 3 times. So, when we get these bonus tiles, how is the bonus distributed?

Only affects the building on that tile, not the whole planet.

If you click on a planet and then click on Summary, the list of factories will show you the MP value for each factory. If you have a factory on a tile with 700% manufacturing bonus, you will see the MP for the factory, then next to that you will see a bonus amount of extra MP. Same for research, food etc.. Add up all the mp points for manufacturing, including that of the basic planet, and you will gwt the total mp for manufacturing shown at the bottom of the Summary.

I get at least one per game. More on bigger maps. It's just a matter of probability methinks.

omg I just found an Arcean world with 2 700% manufacturing bonuses wth!!!

Well, close enough for me.

I once had a home planet with a 700% and 2 300% industry tiles. Once I added a manufacturing capitol and a quantum power source, I was pumping out large scale ships every turn. I was the master of the universe! The Krynn and the Dragen were no match. I made them beg for mercy.

so here's a thought. if the 700% is only for the building, does this apply to say, a tech capital? a 100% bonus multiplied by 700%?
