Invisible ship bug status

Hi to all!
excuse me if I ask this question, but, I wish to know if the infamous "invisible ship" bug is being checked by the devs or not. Because if the response is yes, I'll start to pray, if the response in no I'll start to cry!(and so the bug is only addressable to the pc configuration)

Anyway, the game is still playable disabling the battle sequence or enabling it only when you see fleets of non-invisible ships.

Thanks anyway for the help and thanks stardock for the game!

ps: sorry for my bad english

Absolutely would love to find out if anything is being done about this horrid little bug. I've sent in saved game files with this happening. Would love to have a status of either "yeah we know about it and are working to fix it" or "damn son, we dont know what your talking about, send us more infoz"

Lets hope we hear something soon.

This is also happening with Terror Stars in the latest beta; after you use them, they ghost out until you move them. IIRC they lose themselves if you try to set an autopilot while they're ghosted and have no moves, but don't hold me to it-they're hard to find in that mode and I keep running into little crashy bugs.

At first I actually thought it had been destroyed, and I was going to weep with joy, as I had suggested that not too long ago, but alas, it was not to be.

Please post hardware info so we can look into it.

Yeah, for me it is the military starbases which are invisible. In -both- Dark Avatar and Twilight of the Arnor. I haven't checked Dread Lords. It is sad that they carry over bugs from Dark Avatar to the newest expansion... :( (Though I believe and hope that it will get fixed soon.)

Although my monitor reports to GCII a max res of 1600x1200, it has a functional max res of 1280x1024; anything above that and it goes into panning mode. I've switched back to 75hz just now, as I hadn't noticed it was still at 60hz, having just reinstalled my video drivers 2-3 days ago, but I doubt that was the cause of the problem.

Still having invisible ship issues as of the most recent patch. Just started a new game and my constructors are invisible on the star map unless you zoom out to the tactical view and then you can see the ship icon.

Same here

For me it's the opposing forces' ships which are often invisible (you do see their race's ship marker when you zoom out). I have to turn battle sequences off before the invisible ships attack me or I attack them, or else the game crashes. Are we talking about the same bug? Very nasty bug imo, should definitely be high on the hit list. (I am patched up to the latest version of Dark Avatar).

Dogwalker I think that its the same bug, because that scenario has also happened to me. Halfway thru a game enemy ships started going invisible and if you engaged them and had battle sequence on it crashes the game. I have sent in bug reports as well as saved game files...still no word.

I am having the same invisible ship problem. Only mine is even worse. Not only are enemy ships invisible until you zoom out but every once in a while there is a completely invisible ship. The only way to see this ship is to click on the parsec its in or have one of your ships "bump" into it when they are moving. It gets even stranger then that though as when ever this "super" invisible ship kills something the picture of that ship in the info box changes to the ship it just killed.

Help! I'm tired of my sensor ships being killed by cloaked ships that I can't intercept!
